Mechanical facial cleaning

 Cleaning skin has two main functions: hygienic and aesthetic.Regardless of the type of cleansing, the skin after the procedure is updated by getting rid of old cells, accumulated toxins, and visible defects, which include a variety of blackheads, bumps, rashes, acne.  In addition the skin becomes fresh and healthy and improves blood circulation, stimulates the ability of cells to regenerate, increases collagen synthesis, restores the lipid balance and improves  intra-cellular breathing

Mechanical cleansing is cleaning the skin by getting rid of old cells, blackheads, bumps, rashes, acne with the help of a special cosmetic tool -  a cleansing spoon: “Uno”. This method involves physically scrubbing the dead skin off your face. The procedure uses a gritty, granular substance, suspended in a cream, lotion, or gel, that manually scrubs off the surface layer.

Mechanical cleaning is one of the most effective and frequently used cosmetic treatments.

There are three methods of skin cleaning:

 1)Ultrasonic cleaning
 2)Vacuum cleaning

Combined face exfoliation/cleaning

Combined face exfoliation includes two types of cleaning: Mechanical and Ultrasonic:

Exfoliation is an important part of professional facials and body treatments.Exfoliation leaves the skin smoother and fresher looking, and makes it easier for expensive facial products like serums to penetrate.  The two most effective methods for cleaning the skin are – mechanical and ultrasonic. The combination of both is called combined cleaning treatment.

More about combined cleaning

This face exfoliation combines mechanical and ultrasonic skin cleaning. The procedure deeply exfoliates your skin and reveals its true beauty.  It removes dead cells from the skin surface to rejuvenate your skin, leaving it free of dirt and impurities.

The deep cleansing treatment uses acontinuous wave programme to remove dead cells from the skin surface to leave your skin feeling refreshed, rejuvenated and ultra-smooth. This process of deep cleansing and exfoliation expels pollutants, dirt and grime otherwise trapped in the epidermis.

The procedure of combined facial cleaning takes about 2 hours and is performed in two sessions. Combined cleaning treatmentincludes:

- Cleansing the surface of the skin (make-up removal);
- Gommy-peel;
- openingof pores with special lotion;

During 2 weeks after cleaning you should avoid direct sunlight, visiting solarium or sauna, using scrubs and taking a bath. Sometimes redness or irritations may occur, but they normally disappearin a few days. Sunscreen is a must—anytime you exfoliate the skin, it becomes more sun sensitive, so applying sunscreen immediately after the procedure and every day after that is mandatory.

The procedure may be performed only once every2-3 months.

 The results are not immediately visible. Shortly afteredness disappears a patient will notice the effect: the skin becomes smooth, fresh and radiant, free from blackheads and inflammations.

Microdermabrasion of face, neck, décolletage and hands

Milium removal

A milium is a small cyst containing keratin (skin protein); they are usually multiple and are then known as milia. These harmless cysts present as tiny pearly-white bumps just under the surface of the skin. Milia are common in all ages and both sexes. They most often arise on the face, and are particularly prominent on the eyelids and cheeks, but they may occur elsewhere.

More about miliums

 Milias are small, dome-shaped bumps that are usually white or yellow. They’re usually not itchy or painful. However, they may cause discomfort for some people.

Milias are formed when keratin (a substance produced by the skin) becomes entrapped beneath the outer layer of the skin, forming a tiny cyst. An individual milium (the singular of milia) is formed at the base of a hair follicle or sweat gland. Miliasoccur as a result of liver problems and inappropriate digestion. Some specialists also connectmilia with unhealthy diet. During the treatment period, doctors recommend avoiding products containing oil and fat, as well as smoked food, sweets, and spices.

Milium treatment

These white milk spots are not a result of inflammation or clogged pores. In fact, they have nothing to do with your pores, but are actually caused by a buildup of keratin under the epidermis, or the top layer of skin. It can make you feel self-conscious or uncomfortable, especially when it appears on your eyelids, your cheekbones, or across your nose. This is why professional milia removal helps restore your confidence, making you feel much better about yourself. Some people are genetically prone to developing milia spots but they can also be caused by the use of skin care products and cosmetics that contain heavy oils, particularly mineral oil or lanolin. As cosmetic products are unable to treat or remove miliums, the treatment of milia should be performed by a professional

How to prevent milia spots

You can help prevent milia by exfoliating regularly. You can help your skin slough away old cells by using a gentle exfoliating product 2-3 times a week. Take caution that the lotion or wash you use is not too harsh, and be extra careful around your eyes. Regular exfoliation will help remove the top layer of skin and may cause some of the cysts to fall out on their own.

Healthy diet is one of the effective preventative measures. Avoid or limit the consumption of oily, fried, smoked, sweet and salt products. You should also visit a doctor in case of problems with liver or digestive system.

The procedure of milia extraction includes:

  1. Skincleansing
  2. Gommy-peel
  3. Cleaning with pore-opening gel
  4. Milia extraction (with lancing tool)
  5. Disinfection
  6. Face mask
  7. Application of renewing cream

Papilloma/skin tags

A papilloma is a benign epithelial tumor growing exophytically (outwardly projecting) in nipple-like and often finger-like fronds. It may appear white or normal colored. The average size is between 1–8 mm. Papillomacanappearasaresultofahumanpapillomavirus. Human papilloma viruses usually are spread by direct skin contact, such as shaking the hand of someone who has a wart on their finger or having sexual intercourse with someone who has a genital HPV infection. However, there are cases when they increase rapidly in growth and also in number.

As papillomas are usually harmless, people tend to have them removed for aesthetic or cosmetic reasons.

Sometimes large ones, especially in areas where they may rub against something, such as clothing, jewelry or skin, may be removed because the area becomes frequently irritated. Before the treatment a medical consultation is required to ensure the growth to be removed is benign.

The most effective and painless method of skin tags removal is the Surgitronradiowave technology which uses high-frequency energy to make cosmetic-enhancing incisions.  Healing is rapid and with little or no bruising or swelling. Patients of Cosmetic Radiowave surgery heal quickly and start enjoying their results immediately.  Radiowave procedures are effective on many types of skin lesions, including:

  • Age spots
  • Moles and raised lesions
  • Skin tags
  • Small red facial veins
  • Warts
  • Skin surface irregularities

About the procedure:

This machine uses radio frequencies to cut and cauterise tissue down to superficial layers. Because there is no damage done to the deeper layers of skin there are no stitches or scars from the treatment. The area revealed after the removal of the growth will look like a small graze which will heal over the next 7-10 days. Unlike conventional cutting methods the Surgitron provides an almost scarless removal.

The cost of Surgitron treatment varies depending on the number of growths removed  andlastsfor 10-20 min.Surgitron is the most advanced radiofrequency electrosurgical system designed which gives immediate results.

Hyperhidrosis treatment (excessive sweating)

Hyperhidrosis is a condition characterized by abnormally increased sweating, in excess of that required for regulation of body temperature. It can either be generalized, or localized to specific parts of the body. Hands, feet, armpits, and the groin area are among the most active regions of perspiration.

Botox injection proved to be one of the most successful in treatment for excessive sweating.. Botox is usually considered when topical treatments such as antiperspirants, iontophoresis and medications have been unsuccessful. It is effective in treating small areas (armpits, palms, feet). The degree of dryness achieved depends on the initial severity of hyperhidrosis. Benefits of treatment last between 6 months and 1 year.

Thirdly, you will be injected with a very fine needle which will introduce the Botox. Botox is used most frequently with sweating under the arms (axillae), with each armpit administered around fifteen injections which are completed relatively quickly.

Treatment for the hands and feet is a bit different in that injections can be rather painful and the treatment will take longer. . Most Botox procedures are finishedwithin 15-45 minutes, depending on the site of injection.

After Botox injections the patients stops sweatingin treated areas for 6-8 months whereas no excessive perspiration occurs in other places.

Normal activities can be resumed immediately following treatment; however it is advisable to avoid sunbathing for 3 days and limit sauna and swimming pool visits for about 1 week after the procedure.
